18k Georgian Chrysoberyl Ring
A rare and remarkable piece of history, this antique ring is signed and dated by its original maker: Thor Pritchard, 06 12 May, 1829 Oct. 31. At its center rests a luminous green chrysoberyl, foil-backed to enhance its glow—a technique typical of the period. To preserve the integrity of the stone, it is recommended that the ring be removed before exposure to water, as moisture may darken the foil backing over time. The band features beautifully intricate detailing, showcasing the craftsmanship of the early 19th century. Currently a size 9.75, this piece is best left unaltered to maintain its original condition and historical value.
